The word counter and character counter are intended to be very close for normal text. AI token counts and AI API cost estimates are planning estimates because every AI provider may tokenize text differently and pricing can change. For exact billing, always compare with the usage and billing data returned by your AI provider. Also, FreeTextToolsPro will keep these estimates updated as pricing information changes by the provider to help our users.

The grammar check is a helpful writing aid, not a final authority. It can catch common grammar or spelling issues, but it may miss context, tone, names, domain terms, or intentional writing style. Review suggestions before applying them.

Open the Word Counter, then type, paste, or upload text. The page updates word count, character count, sentence count, paragraph count, AI token estimate, reading time, links, email addresses, phone numbers, and other insights as you edit.

Use the Add Left Indent to Text tool to add characters before each line, or the Add Right Indent to Text tool to add characters after each line. Paste or upload your text, choose the indent length and character, then copy or download the result.

Open the AI API Cost Calculator, paste your prompt, choose the AI model, provide expected output tokens, select your budget currency, and enter your budget. The tool estimates cost per API call, monthly cost, and how many calls fit within your budget.

In Word counter once your text was entered, under App Tool bar click on summary to download the report.

In the AI API Cost Calculator, there is no option for download. But after entering your details, you can copy the estimated cost information by clicking on "Copy Summary".

AI tokenization depends on the model and provider. One word can be one token, multiple tokens, or part of a token depending on language, punctuation, whitespace, and model tokenizer. Use token estimates for planning and provider API usage numbers for final billing.
